Cercado is a province in the central part of the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

location

The province is one of sixteen provinces in the department of Cochabamba. It borders the province of Quillacollo to the west, the province of Capinota to the south, the province of Esteban Arce to the southeast , and the province of Chapare to the east .

The province extends roughly between 17 ° 17 'and 17 ° 32' south latitude and 66 ° 29 'and 66 ° 42' west longitude, its extent from west to east is 22 kilometers, from north to south 28 kilometers.
