Raset Ziatdinov

Raset Ziatdinov ( Russian Рашид Агиляевич Зиятдинов ; born December 27, 1958 in the Uzbek SSR ) is an Uzbek chess player . He has played for the United States since 1998 .

The UsSSR individual championship he was able to win twice: 1983 and 1985. He played twice for the Uzbek SSR at the Soviet team championships (1983 and 1985).

At the Uzbek Individual Championship in 1993 he was tied for second with Tahir Vakhidov and Dmitry Kajumov .

In 1990 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM). He was awarded the title of Grand Master (GM) in 2005. His highest rating was 2535 in July 1997.
