Reiner Putzger
Reiner Putzger (* 1940 in Dresden ) is a German writer and speech educator . He published mainly in the GDR and there mainly poetry and cardboard picture books.
Life
Reiner Putzger was born in Dresden in 1940. He attended primary school in Dresden from 1946 to 1954 and during this time developed a great deal of pleasure in writing, also as a writer of ridiculous verses for classmates.
From 1954 to 1956 he completed an apprenticeship as lathe operator at VEB Zeiss-Ikon Dresden . In his profession as a lathe operator and grinder , he worked from 1956 to 1959. From 1959 to 1961 he made up his Abitur at the workers and farmers faculty in Dresden and Halle. This was followed from 1961 to 1965 by studying speech , German and pedagogy at the Martin Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg . He also worked as a waiter, passenger and transport worker.
He seriously started writing poetry during his student days in the early 1960s. He criticized his own poems for being too focused on everyday things instead of "real problems". He offered them to newspapers and publishers, only a few were actually accepted. It improved over time, and after 1964 the number of poetry and prose published in newspapers, magazines and anthologies increased.
From 1965 to 1971 he was a speaker teacher at the GDR Academy for Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg , then from 1971 in Berlin at the State Drama School and at various theaters. At the German TV broadcaster in Berlin-Adlershof , he had been doing the same job since 1969, parallel to his training for young talent in Babelsberg. In 1967 Putzger played a supporting role in the film Kaule by Rainer Bär .
In addition to publications in newspapers, magazines, anthologies and with Christa Müller and Maria Seidemann in the Aufbau-Verlag in the community lyric volume Kieselsteine from 1975, Putzger wrote literary-critical works for the daily press and song texts and other contributions for children 's programs on radio and television . From 1976 he concentrated on writing children's books.
After the fall of the Wall in 1990, Putzger worked mainly as a freelance speaker trainer at the Berlin University of the Arts in the musical / show course, at the Maria Körber Berlin Drama Studio , at the Teatr Kreatur , at the Institute for Musical and Music Theater in Berlin-Neukölln and at the Berlin Drama School European Theater Institute (ETI).
