coat of arms
Blazon : "In green a golden millstone, surrounded by six golden ears."
The symbolism of the coat of arms refers to the derivation of the place name from Slavic: “where was stamped” or “providing grain”. For this reason the ear circle was placed around the millstone.
The coat of arms was designed in 2002 on behalf of the municipality by the Magdeburg local heraldist Jörg Mantzsch .
