On March 30, 2018, his debut album The Collection was released. 2019 he worked as part of the remake of The Lion King , along with Beyoncé on the associated Soundtrack The Lion King: The Gift , from which the single release Brown Skin Girl was born. The song hit the UK and US singles charts as the first of his releases. The remix of the song Roses, which was released in July 2016, helped the singer achieve a breakthrough in 2020. The video platforms TikTok and Snapchat played a special role . On TiKTok, 2.5 million users used the video as background music for their clips, and a popular Snapchat filter (freckles and hearts) was linked to the song. In March 2020, the song reached the top 10 of the single charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and number one in the British charts.
