Sant'Angelo del Pesco is an Italian commune ( comune ) in the province of Isernia in the Molise region in the Apennines with 359 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). The municipality is located about 32 kilometers north-northeast of Isernia am Sangro and borders directly on the province of Chieti .

history

The community was founded around 1000 and was initially called Sant'Angelo del Grifone . Around 1320 it became Sant'Angelo del Pesculo .

traffic

The former Strada Statale 558 Sangritana (seconda) (today: provincial road) leads through the municipality from Archi to Castel di Sangro .
