Pizzone is an Italian commune ( comune ) in the province of Isernia in the Molise region in the Apennines with 311 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). The municipality is located about 18 kilometers northwest of Isernia on the Abruzzo, Latium and Molise National Park and the Volturno and borders directly on the provinces of Frosinone ( Lazio ) and L'Aquila ( Abruzzo ).

The area around Pizzone was already settled in pre-Christian times. In Chronicon Volturnense Pizzone is first mentioned in the 9th century.
