The Feschel transmitter is a Swisscom transmitter in the village of Wiler, above the village of Feschel in central Valais . The transmission system consists of a 24-meter-high transmission building on which there is a 73-meter-high antenna, resulting in a total height of 97 meters. The plant cost 7.3 million Swiss francs and was built in 1980; it replaced an older transmitter from 1955.
From here the central Valais is supplied with the German and French radio programs of the SRG SSR .
