Silbermühle (colloquially: Silbermil ) is a desert that is located in the municipality of Saxony near Ansbach in the Central Franconian district of Ansbach .
geography
The wasteland was on the Silberbach, a right tributary of the Rezat . In the north it is surrounded by the silver forest, about 200 meters south of the Lehmberg ( 447 m above sea level ) rises .
history
In 1398 the place was first mentioned by name as "Silbersmůl". It was named after the Silberbach.
In Vetter's description of the Oberamt Ansbach from 1732 it says about the place: “Silbermühl. A Teutschherrl [iche] Eschenbachl [iche] Mühl is parish priest to Brodswinden and is free of toe because it does not include field goods. With the Hochfraisch [lichen] high authorities such belongs in the local Ober and Castenamt Anßpach . "
Towards the end of the 18th century, the silver mill belonged to Wallersdorf . She had the city bailiff of Eschenbach of the Teutonic Order as landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Silbermühle received the number 15 of Wallersdorf when the house numbers were assigned. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .
As part of the municipal edict , the silver mill was assigned to the Brodswinden tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Brodswinden, founded in 1811 .
The last mill operated up to that point was demolished in the 1950s. While Brodswinden was incorporated into the city of Ansbach on July 1, 1972 as part of the regional reform , the area on which the silver mill was located came to the municipality of Saxony near Ansbach.
