Ratzenzüge (colloquially: Ratsewin ) is a district of the municipality of Saxony near Ansbach in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

The village lies on the Büchenbach, a right tributary of the Franconian Rezat , and on a nameless brook, which flows into the Büchenbach as a right tributary. The place had its own nobility in the 12th century, from whom the Onolzbach Abbey received ownership, which it acquired through the purchase of various goods and rights from Messrs. Eyb and Dörrer increased and over whom it appointed an administrator. "

In 1806 Ratzenzüge came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, Ratzenzüge was assigned to the Brodswinden tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Brodswinden, founded in 1811 .

Already in 1818 presented Ratzenwinden an application with Oberrammersdorf , Upper and Lower Walkmühle to form a Rural Municipality, which was rejected. A new application in 1836 was approved on August 10 of the same year.

The administration and jurisdiction of the municipality of Ratzenzüge was subordinate to the Ansbach Regional Court and the Ansbach Rent Office ( renamed Ansbach Tax Office in 1920 ). In 1845 the Steinhof was founded in the municipality . From 1862 on, Ratzenzüge was administered by the Ansbach district office (renamed the Ansbach district in 1938 ).
