Slave to the Rhythm is a song by Michael Jackson . It is on his second posthumous album Xscape and was also for advertising the mobile phone Xperia Z2 company Sony uses.

background

Slave to the Rhythm was actually written and recorded in 1991, when work on the album Dangerous with LA Reid and Babyface was underway. The song didn't make it onto the album in the final cut.

In 2010, a remix of the Tricky Stewart song leaked . Officially, this remix remained unreleased, but a text passage was heard on The Ellen DeGeneres Show before the release of the album Xscape . In 2013 a version by Max Methods and Justin Bieber came out. In response to the criticism of this remix, the Michael Jackson Estate, which had not released this song, tried to have the song deleted from the many websites and YouTube channels.

Live performance

Slave to the Rhythm was sung by Michael Jackson at the Billboard Music Awards . A Pepper's ghost was used.
