Svenja Pages

Svenja Pages (born August 3, 1966 in Rheydt ) is a German actress , radio play and voice actor .

Life

She is the daughter of the actor couple Ursula and Harald Pages and the older sister of the actress Annika Pages . She completed her acting training at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts . She made her television debut in 1986 with the television series These Drombuschs , which was filmed from books by Robert Stromberger .

In addition, she lent her voice to a variety of characters from various radio plays , u. a. she spoke the role of Barbie in the radio play series of the same name (1987-1989). At the public broadcaster NDR she took part in several radio plays, for example in Hasenjagd (1993), Angela Gerrits (1996), Das Dekameron (1999), Lennart und die Wunderwette (2001) and in Das Wunder von Björn (2006). She can be heard as Juno Eclipse in the 2008 computer game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed .

She was also often active as a voice actress. Svenja Pages received various leading roles in many British literary adaptations in particular, for example she spoke Emily Blunt in Death on the Nile in 2007 and Emilia Fox in Ballet Shoes in 2008 . In 2009 she dubbed the BBC television series Lost in Austen as Jane Benett, a modern version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice , and Lark Rise to Candleford as Lady Adelaide Midwinter.
