Swen Sundberg (born January 15, 1974 ) is a former German triathlete and Ironman winner (2015). He is included in the best list of German triathletes on the Ironman distance .

Career

Swen Sundberg was active in football in his youth.

In 1990 he started his first triathlon in Erlangen. His nickname is Tigger . In July 2010 he finished second in Zurich at the Ironman Switzerland (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running).

He was a member of the Abu Dhabi Triathlon Team until it was dissolved in January 2013. In June 2013, he won the Aarhus Challenge on the half-distance.

Winner Ironman Japan 2015

In August 2015 he won the Ironman Japan and has not appeared internationally since 2015.

Swen Sundberg is married and lives with his wife in Herzogenaurach , where he now works as a coach.
