history

The former Gutsdorf Gotthardsthal had only 19 inhabitants in 1818, the number of which fell to 11 by 1863 and in 1907 was 14. On October 17, 1928, the Gotthardsthal manor district merged with the rural communities Adamischken (since 1946: Antonowka), Iodszinn (1936–1938 Jodschinn , 1938–1946 Sausreppen , since 1946: Tschistopolje), Bagdohnen (1938–1946 Kleinsausreppen , since 1946: Peski ) and the Friedrichsfelde manor district to form the new rural community Jodszinn (Tschistopolje). Gotthardsthal remained part of the Szabienen district until 1945 .

As a result of the Second World War , Gotthardsthal, like all of northern East Prussia, came under Soviet sovereignty and in 1946 was given the new name " Swerewo ". Until 2009, he was part of the Lwowski soviet (village Soviet Lwowskoje ( Gudwallen )) and then into the basis of a structural and administrative reform in the Kaliningrad region as a "settlement" Krasnojarskoje selskoje posselenije (Town Krasnojarskoje ( Sodehnen )) in Ozyorsky District integrated .

church

Until 1945, the majority belonged to Protestant population of Gotthard valley to the parish Szabienen with vicarage in small Szabienen (1936-1938 Small Saddle bees , 1938-1946 Kleinlautersee , Polish since 1946: Żabien). The parish was incorporated into the Darkehmen church district (1938–1946 Angerapp , since 1946: Osjorsk) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . The last German clergyman was Pastor Heinz Tetzlaff .

During the time of the Soviet Union , all church life came to a standstill due to state prohibitions. It was not until the 1990s that numerous new Protestant congregations emerged in what was then the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad. Zverevo is located in the region of the Salzburg Church in Gussew ( Gumbinnen ), which is part of the Kaliningrad provost in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELKER).
