history

The former Bagdohnen was a rural community with 90 inhabitants in 1818, the number of which increased to 97 by 1863 and was 93 in 1907. On May 6, 1874, the village was one of the 13 communities or manor districts that formed the newly established Weedern District (since 1946: Suworowka). He was in the district of Darkehmen (1939–1945 district of Angerapp ) in the administrative district of Gumbinnen in the Prussian province of East Prussia .

On October 17, 1928, Bagdohnen gave up his independence and joined Adamischken (since 1946: Antonowka), Jodszinn (Tschistopolje), Gotthardsthal (Swerewo) and Friedrichsfelde (Sapolje) to form the new rural community Jodszinn (1936–1938 Jodschinn , 1938–1946 Sausreppen) , since 1946: Tschistopolje) together. At the same time, the place changed from the Weedern district to the Szabienen district (1939–1945 Lautersee ) with its seat in Klein Szabienen, which is now in Poland . In 1939 Bagdohnen was given the new name "Kleinsausreppen" for political and ideological reasons.

As a result of the Second World War , the place, like all of northern East Prussia, came under Soviet control and was renamed "Peski" in 1946. Until 2009 he was incorporated into the Lvovsky soviet (Dorfsovjet Lwowskoje ( Gudwallen )), since then, due to a structural and administrative reform, it has been a “settlement” (possjolok) called part of the Krasnoyarskoje selskoje posselenije (rural municipality of Krasnoyarskoye ( Sodehnen )) in the district since 1991/92 the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad .

church

The mostly Protestant inhabitants of Bagdohnen / Kleinsausreppen were parish up until 1945 in the parish Darkehmen (1938–1946 Angerapp , since 1946: Osjorsk). It belonged to the church district Darkehmen in the church province East Prussia of the church of the Old Prussian Union . The last German clergy were Pastors Johannes Gemmel and Helmut Passauer .

During the time of the Soviet Union , church life was not tolerated. It was not until the 1990s that new Protestant congregations formed in the Kaliningrad Oblast. Peski is now in the area of the Salzburg parish in Gussew ( Gumbinnen ), which in turn belongs to the newly created provost of Kaliningrad in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
