Sadoroschje ( Russian Задорожье , German Mallenuppen , 1938-1946 Gembern ) is a small place in the Russian Kaliningrad Oblast (region Königsberg (Prussia) ) and belongs to Krasnojarskoje selskoje posselenije (Town Krasnojarskoje ( Sodehnen )) in Ozyorsky District (District Darkehmen , 1938 -1946 Angerapp ).

Geographical location

Sadoroschje located four kilometers north of Rajonshauptstadt Ozersk ( Darkehmen , 1938-1946 Angerapp ) at the Russian long-distance road R 508 ( Neman ( Ragnit ) -Osjorsk- Snamensk ( Wehlau ) - Kaliningrad ( Konigsberg (Prussia) )), a section of the former German Reich road 137 , which led from Groß Skaisgirren (1938–1946 Kreuzingen , since 1946 Bolschakowo) to Suwalki (1941–1944 Sudauen , since 1945 Suwałki). A cul-de-sac leads into Sadoroschje, which begins in Lesnoje ( Endruschen , 1938–1946 Maiden ). There is no rail connection.

history

For the first time Malunipis even Malunupu mentioned 1557/1558 when Duke Albrecht of Prussia ordered deforestation to get new settlements. In 1818 there were 66 people living here, in 1863 there were 108. Their number was 97 in 1910 and rose to 242 by 1933 and to 253 in 1939.

In the years 1874 to 1945 Mallenuppen (spelling also Malenuppen ) belonged to the district of Gailboden (today Russian: Gurjewskoje) in the district of Darkehmen (1938–1946 Angerapp ) in the administrative district of Gumbinnen in the Prussian province of East Prussia . On September 30, 1928, the area of Mallenuppen expanded to include the manor districts of Gailboden (Russian: Gurjewskoje), Ottoberg (Netschajewo) and Schaumburgsfelde (Stavropolskoje), which were incorporated into the rural community . On June 3, 1938 - officially confirmed on July 16, 1938 - Mallenuppen received the new name "Gembern".

Another renaming took place in 1946. At that time Mallenuppen / Gembern came under Soviet administration as a result of the Second World War - and has been called Sadoroschje since then (the same Russian name was also given to Ramoschkehmen , only a few kilometers northeast , 1938-1946 Ramfelde , which is not today is more existent). By 2009 Sadoroschje was in the Bagrationowski soviet (village Soviet Bagrationowo ( Wikischken , 1938-1946 Wiecken )) incorporated and has been a "settlement" (possjolok) in the Krasnojarskoje selskoje posselenije (Town Krasnojarskopje ( Sodehnen )) in Ozyorsky District of now Russian Kaliningrad Oblast .

church

Mallenuppen resp. Gembern was not a church village before 1945. Its predominantly Protestant population was in the parish of Darkehmen (1938-1946 Angerapp , since 1946 Osjorsk), which belonged to the church of the same name in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . The last German clergy were pastors Johannes Gemmel and Helmut Passauer .

During the time of the Soviet Union , church life was officially prohibited. In the 1990s, however, isolated Protestant congregations formed again in the Kaliningrad Oblast , which merged to form the Kaliningrad provost, which was incorporated into the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .

Carl Blum House

Thanks to the initiative of Heye Osterwald , pastor at the Salzburg church in Gussew ( Gumbinnen ), later provost in Kaliningrad ( Königsberg (Prussia) ), a retirement home was built in Sadoroschje.

The school, which was built in the 1930s and was used as a kindergarten until 2003, could be converted into a building. Various church bodies from Germany and Holland, but also many individuals, support the renovation financially and ideally, including Heinz Hohmeister . Horst-Peter Boltz took over the coordination. The opening took place on June 10, 2006. It is the first and still only Protestant old people's home in the area of the Kaliningrad provost and belongs to the church region ("church district") Gussew. Services for Sadoroschje and the surrounding area are now also taking place here.

The house was named after the pastor Carl Blum , who came from Courland and who later became the provost of the Volga -Wiesseite provost , whose sermon books were the guideline for their services, especially for the Germans from Russia during the communist and unprincipled time in the Soviet Union.
