Sylviane Telliez
Sylviane Telliez (also Sylvie Telliez , née Marotel ; born October 20, 1942 in Épinay-sur-Seine ) is a former French sprinter .
At the European Athletics Championships in Budapest in 1966 , she reached the semi-finals over 100 m and came in eighth place with the French team in the 4 x 100 meter relay . The following year she won gold over 100 m at the Mediterranean Games .
In 1968 she won the European Indoor Games in Madrid over 50 m. At the Olympic Games in Mexico City she was eliminated over 100 m and 200 m in the preliminary run and came in eighth place in the 4 x 100 meter relay with the French relay.
In 1969 she won silver over 50 m and gold in the 4-by-195-meter relay at the European Indoor Games in Belgrade . At the European Championships in Athens she was eighth over 100 m and fourth in the 4 x 100 meter relay.
At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1970 in Vienna, silver over 60 m and gold in the mixed relay followed. In 1971 she won silver again over 60 m at the European Indoor Championships in Sofia , but was eliminated from the European Championships in Helsinki over 100 m in the preliminary run.
After a bronze medal over 50 m at the European Indoor Championships in Grenoble in 1972 , she reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and the semi-finals over 200 m at the Olympic Games in Munich . She also won bronze at the European Indoor Championships in 1973 in Rotterdam over 60 m.
In 1974 she was eighth over 60 m at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg . At the European Championships in Rome , she did not get beyond the 100 m and 200 m run, but was fifth in the 4 x 100 m relay with the French quartet. In the last year of her international career, she was fifth over 60 m at the European Indoor Championships in Munich in 1976 . At the Olympic Games in Montreal , she reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and was eliminated in the run-up to the 4-by-100-meter relay.
Eight times she was French champion over 100 m (1968-1975) and six times over 200 m (1967, 1969-1973). In the hall she won the national title over 50 and 60 m four times (1972, 1973, 1975, 1976).
