The Turkish Army ( Turkish: Türk Kara Kuvvetleri) forms the land forces of the Turkish Armed Forces (Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri).
The army has 660,700 soldiers , of whom 320,000 are conscripts and 285,000 are reservists in the active state.
Associations
The Turkish Army Command ( Kara Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı ) has four armies ( 1st , 2nd , 3rd and Aegean Army ). In addition to these armies, the training, logistics and army aviation command are subordinate to them .
Turkey has nine armored , sixteen mech infantry , eleven motorized infantry , five special operations , one army aviation , two artillery and five training brigades , as well as a brigade for humanitarian tasks.

- 12 MLRS - multiple rocket launcher
- 186 Cobra - anti-tank weapons
- 340 Eryx anti-tank weapons
- 392 MILAN anti-tank weapons
- 365 TOW anti- tank weapons
- 789 Redeye - anti-aircraft missiles
- 146 Stinger anti-aircraft missiles.
The Turkish army aviators have 4 Beech 200 Super King Air , 3 Cessna 421 , 98 U-17B , 34 7GCBC Citabria , 25 T-41D Mescalero , 4 T-42A Cochise , 37 AH-1P / W Cobra , 3 OH-58B Kiowa , 50 S-70B Black Hawk , 2 AB-212 , 10 AS 532UL Cougar , 12 AB-204B , 64 AB-205A, 20 Bell 206 Jet Ranger , 45 UH-1H Iroquois , 9 Bell 412 Twin Huey , 28 Hughes 300C and 11 Boeing-Vertol CH-47 Chinook . 57 TAI T-129 are currently in service, 91 have been ordered in total.
From 2017, the HK G3 was replaced by the newly developed MPT-76 as the army's standard infantry rifle.
