Thannbügl

Thannbügl is part of the municipality of Deining in the Neumarkt district in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

location

The wasteland lies in the Upper Palatinate Jura at about 518 m above  sea level on the plateau to the right of the upper reaches of the Weißen Laber about three kilometers north of the municipality.

history

The Historical Atlas of Bavaria does not yet know the settlement for 1820 and suspects a new building from the 19th century. In 1836 the repertory for the topographical atlas sheet Neumarkt reads: "Thannbichl also Dannbühl, E [inöde] bei Ober-Buchfeld, 1 H [of]". In the same year, the register of the diocese of Eichstätt reported a house with five “souls” for “Thanbühl (-bügel)”. In 1875 four head of cattle were kept in the yard. Politically, Thannbügl belonged to the municipality of Oberbuchfeld , which was incorporated into Deining on January 1, 1976. Ecclesiastically, the desert already belonged to the Deiningen branch church in Oberbuchfeld, with the children attending the Catholic school in Siegenhofen , where a new schoolhouse had been built in 1840.
