Kleinalfalterbach belongs to the municipality of Deining in the Upper Palatinate district of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate .

Kleinalfalterbach is located almost exactly between Nuremberg and Regensburg , on the Jura plateau , on the edge of an approximately 10 meter high, rocky slope that rises above the railway line running in the valley .

history

  • 960 First settlements by Ernst I from Babenberg.
  • 1281 Heinrich von Boulanden ( Pollanten ) cedes the "jus patronatus" from Kleinalfalterbach to the Benedictine monastery in Ahausen.
  • 1308 Kleinalfalterbach and Sallmannsdorf belong to the Bishop of Regensburg, Großalfalterbach and Pirkach to the Duke of Bavaria.
  • 1312 After the abolition of the Templars, the holdings of Alfalterbach fell to the Bishop of Eichstätt, who mostly sold them to the knights of the Duke of Neumarkt.
  • 1326 After the Heideck Castle was sold to Bavarian dukes, the towns of Groß- and Kleinalfalterbach became Bavarian. You now belong to the Holnstein Office.
  • 1480 Johannes Treml is named as the first pastor or parish vicar.
  • 1540 The Reformation is introduced through the Electoral Palatinate.
  • 1622 The Calvinists close the church in Kleinalfalterbach, it is used as a hayloft.
  • 1625 The Counter Reformation begins.
  • In 1671 Kleinalfalterbach was incorporated into the Großalfalterbach parish.

  • 1757 A Way of the Cross is introduced in the church by Pastor Holzhammer.
  • 1800 A golden goblet is bought from Pastor Johann Götz.
  • 1820 Kleinalfalterbach and Sallmannsdorf go to the Neumarkt district court.

Kleinalfalterbach was the second independent municipality to join the Deining municipality. Following the resolution of the Kleinalfalterbacher Municipal Council, the integration came into force on July 1, 1976.

  • 1977 The outside of the church is renovated, with the residents doing a lot on their own. The tower receives a copper roof.
  • 1983 The church receives a new popular altar by the artist Kreuz from Herrsching, who created several altars in the parish.
  • 1986 The historic organ is renovated by Sandtner from Dillingen.
  • 1987 The place receives a new water pipe for the third time and is connected to the Sengenthaler Group.
  • 1994 The St. Andreas branch church receives a new bell, the bell cage is expanded for it.

St. Andrew's Church

The parish church of Deining was built in 1739 and consecrated in 1747. The nave measures 13 by 7 meters and is a flat-roofed hall building with a drawn-in, three-sided closed choir, which is vaulted by a needle cap barrel. The tower on the north side of the choir has an octagonal tower and an onion roof . The ship walls are divided by double pilasters.

The room is adorned by a large ceiling painting depicting the Martyrdom of St. Andreas von Georg Lang , Deining 1885.

Equipment: high altar probably around 1740, four-pillar structure with side figures of St. John of Nepomuk and Franz-Xaver ; Altarpiece: Glory of St. Andreas. Side altars with sinuous vine-leaf columns around 1700, revised in the early Classicist style. The altar leaves date from 1762 and were made by Johann Georg Haemerl. Left St. Family, on the right St. Johannes von Nepomuk, in between the replica of the Innsbruck Maria-Hilf picture. Figures in the choir: Anna Selbtritt on the left, St. Joseph, probably from the second half of the 17th century.
