The Beach Boys in Concert is a live album by the US band The Beach Boys . It consists of concert recordings from the European tours in winter 1972 and summer 1973. The album was produced in the EMI studio in Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

In addition to the "founding members" of the Beach Boys, Mike Love (vocals), Carl Wilson (guitar, vocals), Dennis Wilson (piano, vocals) and Alan Jardine (guitar, vocals), the two South Africans Blondie Chaplin (guitar , Vocals) and Ricky Fataar (drums, vocals). Chaplin and Fataar had become members of the Beach Boys in 1972. Brian Wilson had dropped out, Bruce Johnston had left the Beach Boys as well. Standard drummer Dennis Wilson sustained a serious injury to his hand in 1971 and was unable to play the drums for years. Dennis found his new role on the piano. These circumstances were decisive for Chaplin and Fataar to have been accepted into the band. Chaplin left the band in the winter of 1973, Fataar followed a year later.

A number of tour musicians filled the Beach Boys line-up during this tour. These were: Dennis Dragon (percussion, drums), Darryl Dragon (keyboard), Toni Tenille (keyboard) (see Captain & Tennille ), Ed Carter (bass), Billy Hinsche (keyboard, guitar)

The "In Concert" album reached number 25 on the US Billboard charts. It was the first Beach Boys album in the 1970s to go gold .
