Dkörpersteeg is a village in Hückeswagen in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Dkörpersteeg is located in western Hückeswagen, right on the border with Remscheid, near the larger Wiehagen district . The place is in the shadow of the higher federal road 237 (B237), from which the access roads to Goldenbergshammer , Braßhagen and Busenberg branch off.

Other neighboring towns are Busenbach , Dörpe , Niederwinterhagen , Winterhagen on Hückeswagener and Siepen , Kaltenborn and Karlsruhe on the Remscheid urban area. The Busenbach , which rises in Wiehagen, flows into the Dörpe brook in the village .

history

In 1484 the court was first mentioned in church accounts. Spelling of the first mention: by dem Stege . In 1914 the Mühlenhof with the adjacent mill pond and neighboring lands was acquired by Fritz Hagemann and has been family-owned ever since.

The place is marked on the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 as the Därersteg and on the Prussian first survey from 1844 unlabeled. In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province , a house with four residents is given for 1885. At that time the place belonged to the rural community Neuhückeswagen within the Lennep district . In 1895 the place had two houses with eight residents, in 1905 one house and eight residents.
