Bergerhof is a court in Hückeswagen in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Bergerhof is located near the main town of Hückeswagen, north of Brücke . Other neighboring towns are Brücke , Eichen , Desert , Böckel , Frohnhausen , Hummeltenberg and Pixberg .

The Frohnhauser Bach flows west past the courtyard.

history

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1596 : Bergerhoff is listed in a list of collectors - " What everybody gave to the poor in Lennepe because of the fire. Anno 1596. " The spelling of the first mention was Bergerhoff . The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows the farm as a Bergerhof . In the 18th century the place belonged to the Bergisches Amt Bornefeld-Hückeswagen .

Eight residents lived in the village in 1815/16. In 1832 Bergerhof belonged to the Herdingsfelder Honschaft , which was part of the Hückeswagen external citizenship within the Hückeswagen mayor's office . The place, categorized as a hamlet according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had two residential buildings and three agricultural buildings at that time. At that time, 18 residents lived in the village, all of whom were Protestant.

In the municipality lexicon for the province of Rhineland in 1885 two houses with 31 inhabitants are given. At that time the place belonged to the rural community Neuhückeswagen within the Lennep district . In 1895 the place had two houses with 27 inhabitants, in 1905 two houses and 27 inhabitants.
