Dörpfeld is a court in Hückeswagen in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany).

Location and transport links

Dörpfeld is located in western Hückeswagen near the crossroads . Other neighboring towns are Strucksfeld , Maisdörpe , Stoote , Dreibäum , Hülsenbusch , Dörpfelderhöhe and Kurzfeld . The Hofschaft can be reached from a spur road from the L68 between Scheideweg and Straßweg .

The Dörpfelder Bach , a tributary of the Kleine Dhünn brook , rises between Dörpfeld and Dörpfelderhöhe .

In 1189 the place was mentioned for the first time in church accounts. Spelling of the first mention : in the Duripypmolen .

The Hofschaft Dörpfeld was mentioned as early as the 12th century as Hof Duripfelde . Count Heinrich von Hückeswagen pledged the county of Hückeswagen to Count von Berg for 100 marks. The districts of Hückeswagen had to raise the annual rent payments of 20 marks. The share of Dörpfeld and the surrounding courts was 15 marks.

In the 18th century the place belonged to the Bergisches Amt Bornefeld-Hückeswagen . 19 inhabitants lived in the village in 1815/16. In 1832 Dörpfeld belonged to the Great Honorship , which was part of the Hückeswagen external citizenship within the Hückeswagen mayor's office . The place, categorized as a hamlet according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had four residential buildings and eight agricultural buildings at that time. At that time 32 people lived in the place, three Catholic and 29 Protestant faith.

In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province , two houses with 14 inhabitants are given for 1885. At that time the place belonged to the rural community Neuhückeswagen within the Lennep district . In 1895 the place had a house with ten residents, in 1905 one house and eight residents.
