Elberhausen is a village in Hückeswagen in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and transport links

Elberhausen is located in the southeastern Hückeswagen directly on the border with Wipperfürth near the dam of the Bevertalsperre . Neighboring towns are Steinberg , Heide , Fürweg , Reinshagenbever , Wipperfürth- Oberröttenscheid and Wipperfürth- Niederröttenscheid . The place is connected by several connecting roads, all of which branch off from the district road K5. From Elberhausen you have a good view of the Bevertalsperre dam.

history

The place was first mentioned in a document after 1450 , namely in Henricus te Elbeshusen is wax interest from the Cologne St. Apostle monastery . Spelling of the first mention : Elbeshusen . The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows a farm and names it Elberhusen .

In the 18th century the place belonged to the Bergisches Amt Bornefeld-Hückeswagen . In 1815/16 there were 24 residents in the village. In 1832, Kleineichen belonged to the Berghauser Honschaft , which was part of the Hückeswagen external citizenship within the Hückeswagen mayor . The place, categorized as a hamlet according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had three residential buildings and three agricultural buildings at that time. At that time, 31 residents lived in the place, 25 Catholic and six Protestant faith.
