Stoote is a village in Hückeswagen in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Stoote is located in the southwest of Hückeswagen on the border with Wermelskirchen and Remscheid near Scheideweg . Other neighboring towns are Maisdörpe , Dreibäum , Strucksfeld and Kurzfeld . The village is on the L 101 state road between Scheideweg and Dreibäumen.

The place is located in the headwaters of the Dörpe brook , which later flows into the Wuppertalsperre . Stoote surrounds the area of ​​the Dreibäumen golf course on three sides. Although the golf course has a different name, the golf hotel and club house of the complex is located in Stoote.
