Strucksfeld is a court in Hückeswagen in the Oberbergisches Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany).

Location and description

Strucksfeld is located in western Hückeswagen on the border with Wermelskirchen near Scheideweg .

Other neighboring towns are Kurzfeld , Stoote , Dreibäum , Dörpfeld , Dörpfelderhöhe , Oberhebbinghausen (Wermelskirchen) and Unterhebbinghausen (Wermelskirchen). The place can be reached via an access road from the state road L101 between Scheideweg and Dreibäumen.

One of the two source streams of the Strucksfelder Bach , a tributary of the Kleine Dhünn Bach , rises in the village . One of the springs flows through one of the oldest half-timbered houses in the area, which was probably built around 1580. The spring was led in the basement and now runs through the house and under the street to a meadow. In addition to the spring, there is also an old well that was used to supply the area with water.
