Zipshausen is a court in Hückeswagen in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Zipshausen is located in northeastern Hückeswagen near the Bevertalsperre . The Hofschaft can be reached via an access road that branches off from Bundesstraße 483 (B483) between Neuenherweg and Linde . Other neighboring towns are Eckenhausen , Heinhausen , Niederdahlhausen , Siepersbever and Funkenhausen . Walked are Girke Hausen and place Hausen .

The Zipshausener Bach rises near the court. The farm is inhabited by a group of 15 relatives.

In 1488 the place was mentioned for the first time in church accounts. Spelling of the first mention: (Hannes) Sipp . The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows the farm as Zipshusen . In the 18th century the place belonged to the Bergisches Amt Bornefeld-Hückeswagen .

In 1815/16 twelve people lived in the village. In 1832 Zipshausen belonged to the Herdingsfelder Honschaft , which was part of the Hückeswagen external citizenship within the Hückeswagen mayor . The place, categorized as a hamlet according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had a residential house and an agricultural building at that time. At that time, eight people lived in the village, all of whom were Protestant.

In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province in 1885 a house with seven inhabitants is given. At that time the place belonged to the rural community Neuhückeswagen within the Lennep district . In 1895 the place had a house with three residents, in 1905 one house and five residents.
