Kaisersbusch is a court in Hückeswagen in the Oberbergisches Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany).

Location and transport links

Kaisersbusch is located in the southwest of Hückeswagen on the border with Wipperfürth . Neighboring towns are Warth , Rautzenberg , Vogelsholl , Odenhollermühle and Wipperfürth-Isenburg. The place can be reached via a connecting road that branches off from the district road K5 at Altenholte and leads to the federal road 506 at Wipperfürth-Schniffelshöh.

The Hofschaft is located in the headwaters of the Harthbach , which feeds the Great Dhünntalsperre as a tributary of the Große Dhünn .

In 1374 the place was mentioned for the first time in a document: " The Cologne St. Ursulastift has income, among other things, from the Hofe zome Busche in the parish of Hückeswagen ". The spelling of the first mention was zome bush .

In the 18th century the place belonged to the Bergisches Amt Bornefeld-Hückeswagen . In 1815/16 twelve people lived in the village. In 1832, Kaisersbusch belonged to the Grand Honorship , which was part of the Hückeswagen external citizenship within the Hückeswagen mayor . The place, categorized as a hamlet according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had three residential buildings and five agricultural buildings at that time. At that time, 24 residents lived in the place, nine Catholic and 15 Protestant faith.

In the parish dictionary for the Rhineland province , two houses with twelve inhabitants are given for 1885. At that time the place belonged to the rural community Neuhückeswagen within the Lennep district . In 1895 the place had two houses with eleven inhabitants, in 1905 two houses and 15 inhabitants.
