Kleinhöhfeld is a village in Hückeswagen in the Oberbergisches Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Kleinhöhfeld is located in the eastern Hückeswagen on the eastern bank of the Bevertalsperre on the city limits to Wipperfürth . Neighboring towns are Höhe , Wipperfürth- Großhöhfeld and, across the dam, Oberlangenberg , Wefelsen and Käfernberg . Walked are Girke Hausen and place Hausen .

The place can be reached via an access road that also connects Höhe and Großhöhfeld.

history

In 1481 the place is listed for the first time under the name "Hoyfeld" in a list of donations for the Marien Altar of the Hückeswagen church. In the map topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825, two farms located separately from each other are listed under the name "Höhfeld" . The Prussian first recording from 1840 to 1843 differentiates the courtyards “Höhfeld” and “Gr. Höhfeld " . From the topographical map ( Prussian New Admission ) from 1894 to 1896, the place name Kleinhöhfeld, which is in use today, is used.

In the 18th century the place belonged to the Bergisches Amt Bornefeld-Hückeswagen . In 1815/16 38 people lived in the village. In 1832 Kleinhöhfeld belonged to the Berghauser Honschaft , which was part of the Hückeswagen external citizenship within the Hückeswagen mayor's office . The place, categorized as a hamlet according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had four residential buildings and six agricultural buildings at that time. At that time there were 29 residents in the village, ten of them Catholic and 19 Protestant.

In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province , four houses with 21 inhabitants are given for 1885. At that time the place belonged to the rural community Neuhückeswagen within the Lennep district . In 1895 the place had four houses with 22 inhabitants, in 1905 four houses and 20 inhabitants.
