Heide is a court in Hückeswagen in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and transport links

Heide is located in the southeast of Hückeswagen on the border with Wipperfürth. Neighboring places are Großeichen , Fürweg , Steinberg and Elberhausen .

The place is connected via a connecting road that branches off from the district road K5 at Kleineichen, leads to the center of Wipperfürth and also connects Großeichen and Fürweg.

history

The place may have been mentioned for the first time in 1487 . A Wilhelm van dem Heyde is on the loan list for Duke Wilhelm III. von Berg , but it is not certain which of the Hückeswagen places Heide / Heidt / Heydt is meant in this document. The spelling of the first mention was Heyde . The Altstrasse Bergische Eisenstrasse ran through Heide .

In the 18th century the place belonged to the Bergisches Amt Bornefeld-Hückeswagen . In 1815/16 51 people lived in the village. In 1832, Heide belonged to the Berghauser Honschaft under the name Heyde , which was part of the Hückeswagen external citizenship within the Hückeswagen mayor's office . The place, categorized as a hamlet according to the statistics and topography of the Düsseldorf administrative district , had four residential buildings and five agricultural buildings at that time. At that time 44 residents lived in the place, 17 of them Catholic and 27 Protestant faith.

In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province , seven houses with 51 inhabitants are given for 1885.
