Kammerforsterhöhe is a village in Hückeswagen in the Oberbergisches Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany).

Location and transport links

Kammerforsterhöhe is located in the western part of Hückeswagen, directly on the edge of the larger district of Wiehagen . Other neighboring towns are Wiehagerhöhe , Raspenhaus , Westhofen , Westhoferhöhe , Junkernbusch , Grünenthal and Heidt . The village is located on an elevation where the L101 road also joins the federal road 237 (B237).

history

The Kammerforsterhöhe residential area was only founded in the first half of the 19th century. While the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 shows no development, the residential area on the Prussian first survey from 1844 is marked and labeled with Kamerforst . On the editions of the Remscheid measuring table sheet of the official topographical map 1: 25: 000, the living space is labeled as Kamerforsterhöhe from 1893 and from 1956 with Kammerforsterhöhe .

In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province , two houses with 40 inhabitants are given for 1885. At that time the place belonged to the rural community Neuhückeswagen within the Lennep district . In 1895 the place had two houses with 21 inhabitants, in 1905 two houses and 18 inhabitants.
