Siepersbever , formerly just Bever , is a court in Hückeswagen in the Oberbergisches Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Siepersbever is located in northeastern Hückeswagen directly on the city limits to Radevormwald , the K11 district road separates the Hofschaft from the Bevertalsperre. The Scheuerbach barrier of the Bevertalsperre is located near Siepersbever .

The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows two farms and names them "Bever" . The topographical photograph of the Rhineland from 1825 shows five separate floor plans in a delimited courtyard and names them "Bever" . In the Prussian premiere from 1840 to 1844 the spelling “Bewer” is used. From the topographic map from 1894 to 1896, the place name is Siepersbever. In the 18th century the place belonged to the Bergisches Amt Bornefeld-Hückeswagen .
