It appears in cooperation between the band's own record label Motörhead Music and the label UDR Records and is distributed by EMI Music Service . On December 21, 2010, a special edition of the British music magazine Classic Rock appeared , which in addition to the album contained a 132-page special issue about the band and an A1 poster.

Recordings

The name of the record was confirmed by drummer Mikkey Dee in July 2010. For The Wörld Is Yours , the musicians traveled to Los Angeles , where they retired to a hotel room; Lemmy Kilmister wrote the lyrics "at record speed", as Dee said (since the album Bastards Kilmister has been writing the lyrics, while Dee and guitarist Phil Campbell write the music), while the band is having a harder time naming their albums. When the recordings were due to begin, Campbell's father's health deteriorated. Campbell therefore traveled back, and Charlie Paulson, a friend of the band from the punk scene and Motörhead fan, helped out. However, he cannot be heard on the album. Lemmy Kilmister and Mikkey Dee recorded the bass, vocal and drum tracks in the fall of 2010 in Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Los Angeles. Campbell recorded his guitar tracks in a recording studio in Wales because his father had died and he could not travel to Los Angeles because of that. Shortly thereafter, Campbell wanted to go to the studio with Kilmister. On December 6, 2010, a video for the single Get Back In Line was released.

Cover

The album cover was made by the American artist Mark DeVito. It shows a semi-transparent globe in which a figure can be seen that is similar to Snaggletooth .
