Theo Breuer (born March 30, 1956 in Bürvenich ) is a German writer and editor .

life and work

After graduating from high school, Theo Breuer studied German and English from 1974 to 1980 at the University of Cologne . Since 1987 he has worked as an author , editor , small publisher , editor and translator .

In addition to poems that have also been translated into Arabic, English, French, Italian, Polish, Romanian and Russian, he has written essays on contemporary poetry, visual poetry , mail art and prose, as well as author and publisher portraits, book presentations and lexical articles.

From 1999 to 2007 he was the lyrical artist book series bauwagen edition and 1993-2008 which he founded Edition YE - with poetry series, folder and box Edition YE - edited.

Breuer, whose books have been published by Pop Verlag (Ludwigsburg) since 2012 , has published several essayistic monographs on contemporary poetry and prose in the German-speaking world as well as numerous poetry books with paragrammatic , parodistic , pointed - also visual - poetry, in which he a. a. Theo Breuer lives in Sistig in the Eifel National Park .
