Thomas Büchel (actor)
Thomas Büchel (* 1965 in Karl-Marx-Stadt ) is a German actor .
Life
Thomas Büchel completed his acting studies from 1987 to 1990 at the theater school "Hans Otto" in Leipzig. He then got an engagement at the New Theater in Halle (Saale) and then moved to the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. This was followed by first work as a lecturer at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater as well as a visiting professorship at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater . From 1996 he worked at the Schauspiel Leipzig and from around 2010 he was a member of the ensemble at the German National Theater Weimar . He also played at the Schauspiel Bonn and the Schauspielhaus Bochum, among others . Thomas Büchel has been firmly committed to the theater in Essen since 2013 .
