Thomas Gsella (born January 19, 1958 in Essen ) is a German satirist and writer .

Life

Thomas Gsella was editor from 1992 and from October 2005 to 2008 editor-in-chief of the Frankfurt satirical magazine Titanic . He writes for various magazines, newspapers and radio stations. Gsella has emerged primarily as a writer of comic poetry . He is known for humiliating poems about German cities. He is a member of the Titanic Boy Group (together with Oliver Maria Schmitt and Martin Sonneborn ), with whom he goes on a reading tour in addition to his diverse solo programs.

Above all, he published poetry in the "Kritische Tagebuch" of the WDR , in the SWR Südwestradio , in the taz , the Junge Welt , the FAZ , the Frankfurter Rundschau and the Süddeutsche Zeitung .

Thomas Gsella lives in Aschaffenburg with his wife and two children .
