Thomas Konrad (born November 5, 1989 in Bruchsal ) is a German football player on the position of central defender .

Career

Konrad played four years for Karlsruher SC and was mainly used in the second team. However, he was in the squad for several games of the professionals. In the second division game against SC Paderborn on January 24, 2010 he made his professional debut. For the 2012/13 season Konrad moved to the Regionalliga Südwest for SV Eintracht Trier . In July 2014, he signed a two-year contract with Scottish first division club FC Dundee . In August 2016, he moved to the Liechtenstein club FC Vaduz and signed a one-year contract until summer 2017. The defender won the Liechtenstein Cup twice with the team .

Overall, however, he stayed in Liechtenstein for two years and, after a period without a club, moved to FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin in November 2018.

In January 2019, he left the financially troubled regional league team, for which he had only played two games, and signed a contract with VfL Osnabrück until the end of the third division season 2018/19 , with which he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga as champions . Following the rise, the defender's contract was extended by one year to June 2020.
