The focus of Tina Haase's oeuvre is on the one hand the object ( object art ) that emerges from the accumulation of industrially manufactured everyday objects and on the other hand the sculptural installation through to the room installation . Further facets of her diverse work are: film , performance , drawing and projects in the field of art in architecture / art in public space .

Tina Haase's objects and assemblages are often created from objects of everyday use and mass consumption or from their remains. The elementary appearance of the individual part used is mostly preserved, while at the same time the collection and connection of similar items increases both the sensitivity for the aesthetic quality of the individual and opens up a new aesthetic dimension of the whole. In correspondence with this interplay between the individual and the whole, Haase's works often evoke an alternation, a jumping back and forth between the two-dimensionality of the pictorial space and the three-dimensionality of the sculptural. In the work “Worpswede 1”, for example, differently colored paper napkins are stacked on top of one another in a precisely dimensioned acrylic glass box so that the viewer primarily gets a glimpse of the surfaces formed by the edges of the napkins from the front side. What is de facto a sculpture has the appearance of an abstract painting made up of colored surfaces . In addition, the often intensely contrasting colors of the sculptural objects emphasize their painterly quality.

Irony is another characteristic stylistic device in Tina Haase's work. When, for example, a multitude of nested plastic paper baskets ("full house") emerges into a twisting visual pipeline through which - at least in the mind of the beholder - large amounts of liquid can be transported, while the scooping with the individual, openwork container is an overwhelming amount would be a tedious undertaking. Or when the exterior design of a prison wall ( JVA Neuruppin-Wulkow ) uses illusionistic painting to apparently satisfy the secret desire to look into and through the world behind, while the sphere of the bourgeoisie is at the same time concerned about the seamless closeness of that wall.
