history
The association was founded in 1979 as Avtomobilist Narva . Six years later the name was changed to Autobaas Narva . When the club rose to the first division in 1991, it changed its name again to Trans Narva . In the first division, the club occupied places in the front midfield. In 1994 the team reached the cup final, but had to admit defeat to league competitor and national champion Norma Tallinn with a clear 1: 4.
1995 Trans Narva was third in the table, but had 15 points behind master Flora Tallinn . After the club had finished the regular phase in second place in the following season, it was passed through to fifth in the group of six. After the club had finished fourth six times between 1999 and 2005, it was nicknamed "Eternal Fourth".
On May 24, 2001, a title was won for the first time in the club's history. In the final of the Estonian Cup, Flora Tallinn was defeated 1-0 after extra time with a goal from Oleg Kurotskinmit in the 111th minute. The subsequent games for the Estonian Supercup were lost to Levadia Maardu : After a 2-0 defeat in the first leg, the club lost the second leg with 3-1.
In 2006, despite being 11 points behind master Levadia Tallinn , the team achieved the best league result in their history with second place in the table and runner-up. So she also took part in the 2007/2008 UEFA Cup qualifiers , where the club was eliminated from Sweden by Helsingborgs IF .
In the following years, the team established itself at the top of the league and was third three times in a row between 2008 and 2010, which was equivalent to qualifying for an international competition. Here, however, they were eliminated without scoring a single goal in the first qualifying round.
