Tsukubamirai is north of Kashiwa and south of Tsukuba .
history
The city was founded on March 27, 2006 from the communities Ina ( 伊奈 町 , -machi ) and Yawara ( 谷 和 原 村 , -mura ) of the Tsukuba County.
