Tuğrul Erat ( Azerbaijani Toğrul Erat ; born June 17, 1992 in Nettetal , Germany ) is a Turkish - Azerbaijani football player who grew up in Germany. The midfielder plays for the Azerbaijani national team .

Career

Erat grew up as the son of Turkish parents in Nettetal , where he also lives. He played for SC Union Nettetal until June 30, 2009 , after which he ran for Fortuna Düsseldorf , where his contract ran until June 30, 2016. At Fortunen he played under coach Taşkın Aksoy first for the second team in Regionalliga West , until coach Oliver Reck made his debut in the first team and in on December 9, 2013 in the right midfield outside position against 1. FC Kaiserslautern the 2. Bundesliga played. The game ended with a 1-0 win over Kaiserslautern, a series of disappointing performances by Fortuna, which had led to the leave of absence of head coach Mike Büskens . In the 2015/16 season he only played in the regional league reserve, for which he scored ten goals. In June 2016, Erat moved to the second division relegated MSV Duisburg . After he had contributed to the Duisburg's rise again in 22 appearances in the 3rd division , he only got eight considerations one class higher. Erat's contract was not extended in the summer of 2018, after which he initially remained without a club. At the beginning of October 2018 he then joined the newly promoted regional league SV Straelen .

In January 2019 he was signed by the Turkish third division club Fatih Karagümrük SK .

National team

Since September 9, 2013 Tuğrul Erat - thanks to the mediation of his coach Taşkın Aksoy - ran for the U-21 national team of Azerbaijan . In this mission, which led to a 2-7 defeat for the Azerbaijanis against Israel , Erat scored to make it 2-1. On March 3, 2014, Erat was appointed to the senior national team of Azerbaijan for the first time. On March 5, 2014 he ran under Berti Vogts in a friendly against the Philippines ; this was also Erat's international debut in the senior national team of Azerbaijan .
