Since he had already arranged everything for his wedding, Alan and Gretchen can take care of everything, which of course suits them. Evelyn is also generous and promises to help them buy their own house. Meanwhile, Walden visits Lyndsey to see how she is doing. She says good, but what is wrong. When the wedding day came, Walden gossiped to Larry because he said he knew that Alan and Lyndsey's relationship was still going on when she was with him. Larry really wants to kill Alan, but Walden prevents it by pushing him off the terrace. When the wedding is underway, Lyndsey suddenly shows up drunk in the same wedding dress as Gretchen and wants her wedding back. But she cannot stand on her feet and falls into the wedding cake. Suddenly Gretchen's ex-husband appears and apologizes to her. She wants to give him another chance and so in the end Walden and Alan are left alone.
