Important events

Umeå IK is a very successful women's football club. In addition to seven Swedish championships, she also made five finals in the UEFA Women's Cup . The T3 Arena was three times the final stadium under its then name Gammliavallen, since two final games were played by Umeå IK in Stockholm. Surname

The stadium was called Gammliavallen until September 2011, before the company T3 became the stadium's name sponsor for five years . After acquiring the naming rights, T3 announced a naming competition in which fans of the club could send in their suggestions. This competition remained unsuccessful, so that the stadium now bears the company's name. After the agreement had expired, the company was renamed Umeå Energi Arena again.

Remodeling work

At the beginning of the 2010s, renovation work was carried out on the stadium. As part of this, among other things, the athletics facility around the field was removed.
