Utterslev Kirke

Utterslev Sogn is a former parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Lolland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Lollands Nørre Herred in what was then Maribo Amt , then to Ravnsborg Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Lolland Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

On August 1, 2016, Herredskirke Sogn , Løjtofte Sogn and Utterslev Sogn were merged into Utterslev-Herredskirke-Løjtofte Sogn . This only applies to church issues. In its capacity as Matrikelsogne , i.e. as land register districts of the cadastral authority Geodatastyrelsen , such changes have not had any effect since the abolition of the Harden structure in 1970.

On July 1, 2016, 504 inhabitants lived in the parish and 214 in the parish on January 1, 2020. The church “Utterslev Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities were Vindeby Sogn in the west, Løjtofte Sogn in the south and Horslunde Sogn in the east . In the east of neighboring Horslunde Sogn there is an exclave of Utterslev-Herredskirke-Løjtofte Sogn.
