The constituency of Eilenburg was a state electoral district for the state elections in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. It had constituency number 2. For the state elections in 1994 , the constituency structure was changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. The area of the constituency of Eilenburg became part of the constituency of Delitzsch except for five in 1990 still independent municipalities . Although the communities of Audenhain, Mockrehna, Schöna, Strelln, Wildenhain and Wildschütz moved to the Torgau-Oschatz district after the Saxon district reform in 1994 , they initially belonged to the Muldental 1 constituency .
The constituency comprised the following municipalities and towns in the district of Eilenburg : Audenhain , Authausen , Bad Düben , Battaune , Doberschütz , Eilenburg , Glaucha , Gotha , Hohenprießnitz , Jesewitz , Kospa-Pressen , Kossa , Laußig , Liemehna , Mockrehna , Mörtitz , Naundorf , Krippehna , Paschwitz , Pehritzsch , Pressel , Schnaditz , Schöna , Sprotta , Strelln , Tiefensee , Wellaune , Wildenhain , Wildschütz , Wöllnau and Zschepplin .
