Wilhelm Bähr

Wilhelm Bähr (born May 19, 1863 in Rohrbach (Büdingen) ; † October 4, 1938 in Gießen ) was a Hessian politician (anti-Semite, HBB ) and a former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Wilhelm Bähr was the son of the Isenburg tenant Johannes Bähr and his wife Elisa Margaretha née Immel. Wilhelm Bähr, who was a Protestant, married on February 19, 1889, born Philippine Heyn. He worked as a landlord on the Herrnhaag , later in Rohrbach.

From 1894 to 1918 he was a member of the second chamber of the state estates as a member of the anti-Semites and the Hessian farmers' union. He was elected for the 29th and 30th electoral term in the constituency of Oberhessen 5 / Gießen-Land and then in the constituency of Oberhessen 13 / Büdingen.
