Ferdinand Wilhelm Ernst Julius Lademann (born July 28, 1840 in Ueckermünde , † April 30, 1919 in Blankenburg (Harz) ) was a Prussian major general and commander of Küstrin .

Life

Wilhelm was a son of the district secretary Gustav Lademann († 1855) and his wife Bertha, née Gröning († 1874).

Military career

After attending the community school in Ueckermünde and the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Gymnasium in Stettin , Lademann joined the 4th Company of the Pioneer Battalion No. 3 of the Prussian Army as a pioneer on November 1, 1861 . As a non-commissioned officer in 1864 during the war against Denmark , he took part in the battles near Missunde , Hollnis, Alnoer, Büffelkoppel and Wilhoi as well as the transition to Alsen . In front of the Düppeler Schanzen Lademann had the order to blow up the palisades in the wolf pit in front of Schanze II. His brave behavior was honored on February 4, 1865 with the promotion to secondary lieutenant and at the same time Lademann was transferred to the 3rd Magdeburg Infantry Regiment No. 66 .
