Wulffen (noble family)
Wulffen is the name of three different German aristocratic families who joined together on December 19, 1896 to form an extended family association.
Wulffen (Anhalt-Magdeburg)
The old Anhalt - Magdeburg aristocratic family with the same parent company Wulfen near Köthen appears for the first time in a document with Bernhardus de Wolve and his brother Gero among the lay judges in the district court of Wörbzig on November 28, 1156 and begins its direct line of roots with Hans von Wulffen († before 1177), Landlord on Wulfen.
Since around 1325 the Wulffen owned Grabow Castle as an after-loan recipient of the Counts of Lindau . In 1545 Wichmann von Wulffen sold his possessions in Grabow to von Plotho , but another branch of the Wulffen kept the castle grounds and built a two-storey baroque manor house on the old castle plateau and parts of the ruins in 1621, which underwent extensive renovations in 1713. In 1901 the manor was sold to von Lindequist .

Wulffen (Brandenburg)
The old Brandenburg noble family appears for the first time in 1220 with Heydenricus de Wolv and the direct line of tribe begins with the knight Albrecht Wulff , mentioned in a document in 1333, landlord on Tempelberg, today's district of Steinhöfel .
Electoral Brandenburg nobility recognition on June 20, 1637 for the entire family. - Prussian name and coat of arms association with those of the Count Küchmeister von Sternberg as "von Wulffen called Küchmeister von Sternberg" on August 12, 1830 in Berlin for the later royal Prussian cavalry master Heinrich von Wulffen , lord of the Niederhoff ( Neidenburg district , East Prussia ), the three days earlier, on August 9, 1830 , had married the last of her family, Countess Luise Küchmeister von Sternberg .

Wulffen (Halberstadt)
The old noble family of the Bishopric of Halberstadt is on May 10, 1407 Hinrik Wulff , episcopal half städter vassal to Gatersleben , first mentioned and starts with it the direct trunk line. Unless assigned to the individual Wulffen families above, the following is a list of properties owned by members of the same family:
- Castle Loburg and Padegrim inherited Friedrich August von Wulffen (1704–1757) from his father. In 1831 it came into the possession of a later Friedrich August von Wulffen.
- Wendgräben Castle was built in 1910 for the Loburger Wulffen.
- Pietzpuhl in Jerichower Land (Saxony-Anhalt), northeast of Magdeburg, came to a von Wulffen family around 1700 and remained in their possession until the expropriation in 1945 (the last owner was Lothar von Wulffen ); In 1997 she bought the castle back. The Wulffens hosted Prussian kings here on the occasion of the great troop revues of the Prussian army .
- Wuticke manor near Kyritz (Brandenburg) belonged to a branch of the Pietzpuhler Wulffen.
