Padegrim is a settlement in the Loburg district of Möckern in the Jerichower Land district in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

The settlement is about a kilometer west of the center of Loburg. It is divided by the border running here between the western Fläming plateau , a heather and grassland forest landscape in the north and the Zerbster Land , an arable, open cultural landscape in the south. At the northern edge of the village, the Ehle flows past him in an east-west direction. Beyond the Ehle is the southern edge of the Loburger Vorfläming nature reserve .

history

In 1820 the place was a Vorwerk of the Loburg estate of August von Wulfen , which included a water mill, 6 houses and 46 residents parished to Loburg. At that time, the place to belong district Jerichow I .

Padegrim historically belonged to the Loburg II manor district and became a district of the town of Loburg after the manor districts were dissolved on September 30, 1928 . Loburg was incorporated into Möckern on January 1st, 2009.
